The book, Tracing the History of Your House by Nick Barratt
Contains details on the many sources of information available to the researcher, and how to use the information to build up a detailed history of a house.
(19 Burn Rd is to right)
These extracts are taken from the bundle of documents which make up the deeds for the property at 17, Burn Road, Birchencliffe, Huddersfield, W. Yorkshire. I have included all the names and dates mentioned in these documents along with their purpose and salient facts from each document.
The earliest document is from 1855 when the buildings were already in existence. There is nothing in the documents to tell when the houses were built or who built them.
